It keeps our bones strong, our weight in check, and our posture tall. But most importantly, it keeps us strong and able to age well and feel emotionally strong. Building physical strength is especially important for women who have been betrayed by their partner, who are facing divorce, are empty-nesting, or are facing other kinds of transition or trauma. Why? Because it reminds us that we can do hard things! We can build and grow and change!
