I went out to his hood when I was in London a few years ago to see what it was like just based on that sick album he put out 'Let Em 'Ave It' ..that shit was hard as fuck haha. He's one of the best in UK in my opinion, sick original style…ain't no one sounding like him. 02. Ghetts- Artillery This joints a few years old now but still hype as fuck. Ghetts goes in…need I say more. Amped and militant. Another rapper with complex flows, amazing content and style. 03. Krept and Kronan- My Story These guys are real dope…this track is a true story about how Konan's dad got killed…it's deep you can hear the life and death in the words. It's important to put your life experience down in tracks, that's one of my aims when I'm writing. 04. Styles P- Araab Styles Ill combo of Styles P and Araab Muzik up on this joint. Styles P always kills shit and Araab Muzik is top 5 producers as far as I'm concerned. Dark and murky, full of imagery in the lyrics just how I like it. 05. Young Marv/ King Chess/ Snap Capone- Yes Bitch This joints off The Purge mix tape with Young Marv, Chess and Snap Capone. It's that screw-face music, hard gangster shit…concrete steez. This mix tapes on some fuck you shit which I like haha. The beats too sick as well. Been banging this mix tape a lot. 06. Tommy Lee Sparta- Psycho A brudda of mine put me onto Tommy Lee Sparta a while ago and I love his music. He does a dark style of dance hall which is pretty unusual and original…I know Vybz Kartel and Mavado get on some shit but this is even more crazy. This track is EPIC. 07. French Montana- Devil Want My Soul People probably wouldn't think it but I'm a big Coke Boyz fan…especially French Montana. This is my favourite fucked up drunk track as my mates would probably tell ya….that 3 in the morning chanting up type shit haha. Beat's banging as well. 08. Mobb Deep- Check the Credits I've always been a big Mobb Deep since back in the day and I thought the album they put out earlier this year was real good. Havoc's got a sick mix of old and new in the production style. This track is tough. 09. CASisDEAD- Play (Faze Miyake Remix) Cas kills shit straight up. This joint is a banger…fuckwidit…WHO WANTS TO PLAY haha. Seriously though all his videos are top notch and his style and content is up there with the best in the UK. Can't believe he's still so underground. Actually I can, that's the way with some of the best artists. 10. Freddie Gibbs & Madlib ft. Raekwon- Bomb This joints on some throwback weird sample shit done proper…I'm a sucker for a tripped out synth loop and the lyrics make this feel like a movie. Freddie Gibbs and Raekwon…need I say more.
