Visiting State Highpoints To Beat Cancer Treatment Fatigue
19 videos • 65 views • by parristx As a motivator to keep active through my cancer treatment side effects I have decided to hit the road and visit state highpoints. Five years ago I managed to climb Guadalupe Peak- the highest point in Texas (where I live). But after chemo, radiation and three years on Lupron I couldn't manage it this past spring. I will try again after my Lupron treatment finishes but in the meantime I will aim a little "lower." Starting with Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska and when the weather get cooler aim for highpoints that involve a little more hiking.
