His quest into Electronic Music began around 1997, when he had already moved from Paris to Athens. Dimitri had a musical background in classic music, playing trumpet when he was younger and the skills he gained in mixing as a DJ slowly created the need of making his own tunes. He represents Dark Elf project at several parties and festivals around the globe on his musical journeys, always looking to gain new experiences. His first release comes in 2006 with Sauron's Madness, at Discovalley Records, a pioneer label of the genre, owned by DJ Teo and based then in Goa, India. In 2010 he releases his full length album called World Liquid Domination, expressing a universal message. Dark Elf is also a member in other psy-trance projects, such as Septagram (with Darkshire), Double Trouble (with Apnea), Double Core (with both of them) and holds another solo project, Fugitive Factor. Co-works included throughout the years friends like Darkshire, Apnea, Detonator, Narcosis, Furious, Dominator, Candy Power, Zik, MDS, Orestis, Drury N'Evil, Netrosystem, Crying Orc/Technical Hitch, Sator Arepo, Fractal Error, Innersound, Looney, Akbar, Digital X, Blisargon Demogorgon, Gu, Shuji, Twisted Kala and Dendrobates. Having finished the Reaction Studios sound engineering course in Athens, he works as a session or live sound engineer, but also takes in charge mastering works for musicians or labels.
