If you are reading the transcript and still have trouble understanding the German language, you can use a translation tool in the browser of your choice. Either it is already integrated (e.g. Chrome) or you use add-ons (e.g. Mozilla Firefox) to translate the website into your language. The transcript on YouTube is automatically translated as well. This only works for the transcript version that is displayed on the side or below the video. Not for subtitles embedded in the video.
