The students brought to the fore the immense strides that India has achieved in the field of Science, technology and sports, apart from its glorious past and the struggle for freedom. The medley of patriotic songs such as ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Saare jahan se acha’ sung by the students touched everyone's heart. The skits that were presented with a dash of humour evoked love and respect for the nation for her endeavour in cherishing brotherhood and harmony with the idea of unity in diversity. Chairperson Ms Shilpa Ravi exhorted the students to be the torch bears of freedom and Principal Ms Bharti appreciated the students for their wonderful performances and encouraged them to strive for a prosperous and strong nation. The support staff participated in rangoli competition and the winners were awarded certificates. Ms Shilpa and Ms Bharti applauded the winners for their efforts.
