Key Lessons of the Infinite Way: God is an Indwelling Presence: God is not a distant deity but an ever-present, indivisible consciousness that exists within you. This "Christ within" is the source of all good. The World of Effect is an Illusion: The material world and its problems—such as sickness, poverty, and conflict—are not ultimate realities. They are "states of mind" or "illusions" that can be dissolved by realizing the truth of God's omnipresence. Consciousness is Everything: Your individual consciousness is the sole medium through which the divine expresses itself. Therefore, to change your experience of life, you must change your consciousness, not the external world. The Importance of Meditation: Goldsmith emphasized the practice of contemplative meditation as the primary way to achieve a "conscious union with God." This isn't about asking for things, but about finding a state of inner silence to hear the "still small voice." Spiritual Healing is a Realization, Not a Prayer: Healing is about realizing the perfection and wholeness that already exists in divine consciousness, thereby dissolving the illusions. There is Only One Law: The only real law is the law of God, which is harmonious, abundant, and infinite. All material laws or human systems only have power to the extent that we believe in them. We Are Not in the Body: Our true self is not the physical body. The "I" is not limited by time, space, or place. The body is simply an instrument, and the fear of death is a result of mistaking the body for our true identity. Grace and Effortlessness: When you live in conscious union with God, good things flow to you through grace without struggle. This is in stark contrast to the human effort to acquire riches or security. Love for God and Humanity: It is impossible to truly love God while hating your fellow human beings. Love for humanity is a natural and necessary expression of a consciousness that is united with the divine. Living the Infinite Way: This encapsulates a core teaching. It's a individual journey of spiritual living, free from dogma or rigid organization, where you learn to live from the Christ within.
