The last time he checked up on Marvin, Marvin was losing a lot of blood and turning pale, but Marvin refused to be helped and had accepted his fate, even going as far as pulling a gun on Leon and telling him to leave him behind.
When Leon makes it to the Main Hall where he left Marvin, he sees that Marvin is gone. Trailing off from the seat where he was left sitting are fresh bloody footprints on the marble floor. Leon followed the trail of footprints to a nearby wooden door. When he pushes the door open and steps through he finds himself in a dark poorly lit office. Knocked over furniture, blood splatters and ransacked papers are littered all over the room. In the far left corner toward the back of the room, he can see the thick beam of light looming from the entrance of a private office.
Leon cautiously makes his way toward the well lit office and stops at the entrance. He is startled by the sight of a man standing about six feet away from him facing the wall with his back toward Leon. It's Marvin.
