“I wrote this song about a girl I knew that cared so much about being perceived as an angel when she was so bitter and nasty to those who loved her. Falling out with someone you care about hurts but watching her control the narrative when I never once fought for myself was so painful. I wrote this song to have an outlet for a feeling I didn’t like talking about.”
