On Thu, Apr 11, under cross examination by John Prior, Lt Hermosillo testified that he didn't remember a call that was unrecorded by Melanie Gibb. John Prior said he'd revisit that call later.

But then Lt Hermosillo, Lt Ball, and Rob Wood drove to Provo, Utah and met with Melanie Gibb and David Warwick on 6/4/20**. According to Lt Hermosillo the first ~40 mins of the interview wasn't recorded due to a malfunction with the recorder or something.

Following this testimony, Lindsey Blake filed two motions: a Motion for Expedited Hearing ( https://bit.ly/4cY8K3d ) and a Motion to Seal ( https://bit.ly/3VZjMz9 ). To grossly summarize the matter, it appears Blake is asserting JP is gunning for a mistrial by making Rob Wood a witness. I'm assuming to question him about what was discussed with Melanie and David before the recording started.

There is a hearing is set for tomorrow, Apr 16th at 1pm MT, and it will be held outside the presence of the jury, so it appears it will be for this matter.
