Hermann Gmeiner School, Bhimtal, a co-educational residential school with provision for day scholars, was founded on June 01, 1984 by our parental organization SOS-CVI. It is located in the western Himalayas at an altitude of 4624 ft. and occupies areas of 42 acres just above the Bhimtal Lake. It is at a distance of 315 Kms. Northeast of Delhi, 369 Kms. from Lucknow and 22 Kms. from Kathgodam.
The school recognizes the importance of the transition period of childhood and youth and is equipped to meet its needs. It allows each students to progress physical social and intellectually. The school aims at being progressive and dynamic while retaining the essence of Indian culture and is being developed as a ‘Centre of excellence’, with limited number of students.
