We are an independent and not-for-profit organisation serving the housing needs of the community as Hong Kong’s “housing laboratory”. Subsequent to the first rental estate in Hong Kong, Sheung Li Uk, which was built in 1952, HKHS has implemented different housing schemes over the years, including public rental housing, Flat-For-Sale Scheme, Urban Improvement Scheme, Sandwich Class Housing Scheme, Home Starter Loan Scheme, Subsidised Sale Flats and elderly housing projects. We are also managing a portfolio of 20 rental estates and providing property management services for private flats. Since our establishment in 1948, we have been serving our community with a social mission. This mission and commitment will remain unchanged as we move forward in tandem with the city.
房協是一所獨立的非牟利機構，一直擔當「房屋實驗室」的角色，發展不同的房屋計劃，以配合香港市民的住屋需要。繼1952年興建全港首個出租屋邨上李屋後，在不同時期亦推出各類不同的房屋計劃，包括公共屋邨、住宅發售計劃、市區改善計劃、夾心階層住屋計劃、首次置業資款計劃、資助出售房屋及長者房屋等。房協目前管理轄下20 個出租屋邨及為一些私人物業提供管理服務。自一九四八年成立以來，我們秉承著社會使命，服務社群。我們將堅守這個理念和承諾，與香港同步向前。
