A Dream Pop / Alternative Rock band from Taiwan. Having greatly influenced by Sigur RĂłs, M83 and Agnes Obel, their music not only has the main structure of Dream Pop, but also combines multiple music styles such as Post Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Shoegaze and Classical.
In 2018, IMU released their debut album âOSTâ and started the Asia tour as well as attending many international music events across the globe. Including SXSW (USA), Mondo.NYC Music Festival (USA), Zandari Festa (KR), Busan International Rock Festival (KR), Baybeats Festival (SG), ASEAN Music Showcase Festival (SG), Monster Music Festival (TH), City Roar Festival (MY) and more.
After releasing the second album âInto Innerverseâ, IMU was nominated as âBest Bandâ by âGolden Melody Awardsâ. The song â24 Years Old of Youâ was even awarded as âBest Alternative Singleâ by âGolden Indie Music Awardsâ. They also got nominated by âFresh Music Awardsâ several times and won a âTAMA Awardsâ in Singapore.
