In 1970 I started modeling as a ten year old enthusiast. The first ten years I only built airplanes and tanks, because at the time little else was offered on the modeling market, these were the classic subjects for the majority of modellers. However, the range of model kits gradually expanded, and as a professional soldier I saw more than enough aircraft and tanks, I thought the time was ripe to shift my horizons to civilian vehicles, especially cars and motorcycles. My interest stems from the passion for motorsport that I have felt since 1972. I then started following Formula 1 intensively because I found the black Lotus in the John Player Special colors so attractive. So it should come as no surprise that one of my first Formula 1 models I built was a 1:12 scale John Player Special - Lotus from Tamiya. Meanwhile, the counter is on about 500 built cars and motorcycles ... In this channel I try to show you how my models are created and how I try to improve them where possible...
