Supporting Pastoralism and Agriculture in Recurrent and Protracted Crises (SPARC) is a six-year research programme which aims to build the resilience of millions of pastoralists, agro-pastoralists and farmers in sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
SPARC was commissioned by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) of the United Kingdom and managed by Cowater, the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), Mercy Corps and ODI.
