When some people think of America, they think of rampant capitalism, avarice, and imperialism, but I think of Art. I think of music, blues-jazz-folk-country-rock. I think of the Guthrie, Cash, Johnson, Parker, and Wolf. I think of literature, F. Scott, Throeau, Twain, Kerouac, J.D. Morrison and so many others that have brought to light the true American soul. Forgive me as I know a plethora of painters, musicians, artists etc will go unnamed... but let me just say, from Naples, "I think of Dean Moriarty" most...
