About Windshield Angles
Windshield shear angles perform best somewhere between 55° and 60° from a straight 90° as measured from the hood plane. Our Twist and Tilt Windshield (Patent Pending) is engineered to fall within those 2 sweet spots in the range of travel. The fully down against the hood position results in a 60° blade-to-hood-angle. As the user twists the adjustment knob the windshield raises and tilts back toward the cockpit and the blade- to-hood angle decreases to 55°. The beauty of the Twist-And-Tilt Windshield engineering is that there is NO NEED TO STOP the vehicle to make a blade adjustment!
