The German Equestrian Federation - known as “FN” after its international name Fédération Equestre Nationale - is the nationwide umbrella organisation of all breeders, riders, drivers and vaulters in Germany. With around 7,300 clubs and 680,000 members, the FN is the eighth largest German sports association.
But in the FN, it is more than just about competition sport in the disciplines of Dressage, Jumping, Eventing, Driving, Endurance and Vaulting. The federation actually promotes the health and joie de vivre of all people - especially the young people – through practising the equestrian sports of riding, driving and vaulting. The FN takes care of the training and education of riders, drivers, vaulters and horses and cultivates the art of riding, driving and vaulting.
