For those who have sacrificed selflessly by serving our Nation, we can offer a final salute — a tribute that resounds with tradition, dignity, solemnity and respect. This is the mission of The Honor Bell Foundation, a nonprofit working to properly recognize departed veterans during burial services.
We do so with the Honor Bell, a 1000-pound bronze instrument specially forged from the legacy of other heroic service men and women, which is tolled at public ceremonies and funeral rites to signal our respect and sound our loss.
