All my life I have looked for ways to share stories. I sing songs from musicals because they tell stories. I sew costumes so that my kids can pretend to be part of the stories they have watched and read. And to my mind there is nothing quite as delectable as cuddling with one of my favourite people on a couch and reading a story aloud complete with character voices and sound effects!
I started the "Reading Rena" channel to give parents and other educators content to share with their children during the COVID-19 pandemic, but it has already grown into a passion.
I will be posting a new video of a rhyme, song or fingerplay weekly. I am back to work now so I will only be doing new storytimes periodically when I have time. Thanks so much for tuning in!
