As a young child, I loved performing before I even knew what it was. I used to improv scenes in my living room for my parents. The characters all had different backstories, accents, personalities, and body language. Dandelion is a song that is special to me because it is the first song I produced in college. When I started to learn to play guitar or use Logic I often wondered when my songs would sound "real." With Dandelion it felt like I finally had a "real" song. In my sophomore year of high school, I was accepted to New York University's SIMP-T program. The whole experience was bittersweet because the classes took place during the COVID-19 pandemic. We overcame adversity and learned to use ProTools over Zoom. One of my major goals is to open for a touring band. Performing is the reason I chose to become an artist and not just a songwriter, or producer. No other feeling is equivalent to standing on a stage and exchanging your energy with an audience.
