Inspiration for Print n Pixel Studio
We are a mother daughter creative team. We have worked together for years as crafters/artists and thrifters. We spent years living in a rural area of Northern California, amongst the redwoods, on a 40 acre off the grid homestead.
We learned to forage for many of our art supplies, for example, herbs and flowers for dies, and petals to add to our homemade papers. We used many found plants and objects as decoration and stamps for these papers. We also cut our own linoleum stamps and painted with watercolors to create our designs. This experience gave us great respect for nature and the environment.
We sold many of our designs to galleries across the western United States. These were days before computers. In fact cell phones were just coming on to the market. Yikes! Are we that old!
On our channel we will be sharing some of our vintage finds as well as our creations to hopefully inspire you! So be sure to subscribe!
