You can be wrong, that doesn’t mean you faked it. Faking it is intentional and you’re lying. If you thought you were something and weren’t then you’re totally ok man, you questioned something and the answer was no. I’m proud of you for leaving a comfort zone.

I don’t like to get political but:
The most important thing queer people in the US can do is stay put and stay queer. If it is currently physically unsafe to be openly queer for yoh, do not risk your life, but you have the constitutional right to peaceful protest. Keep loving, keep living, show everyone around you that you are not afraid to be yourself and we will shine through. I promise you, the more confidence you have in yourself the more you show those who do not have confidence that that they can have confidence too.
And for the rest of the world:
Do not give up on American queer people. We will fight, and we will keep going. You cannot squash out an identity, you cannot stop love. We will wait however long it takes.
I love you all, stay strong, and it will all be okay in the end. If it isn’t, we can figure that out too. Hope is the thing with feathers.
I love you my rafties, stay safe, kind, and curious and most importantly stay you.
