I’ve been sitting on this for ages and trying to get it off the ground even longer, and while I’m not sharing any specifics yet, this is why we’re starting to dive into the atom. I’m so excited about this and I hope you’re excited to come on this journey, too!

Hi all!
I don't do life updates often but I wanted to just let everyone know that this was my view on Tuesday night. I'm safe, I didn't have to evacuate, and I'm extremely fortunate that the worst that hit the neighborhood was a prolonged blackout. The hardest thing has been helplessly watching friends lose their homes and their whole lives. It's been devastating.
A lot of people have been trickling in lately so I just wanted to explain why the uploads have stopped. I'm not abandoning shorts, I just couldn't post without power or Internet. I'll be getting back to a regular schedule -- daily shorts and working on long form videos -- this week.
Anyone in Southern California, please stay safe. We're still under wind warnings and, as we know, things can change on a dime.

Hey all! Ultra-rare Community Post but just to give y'all a sense of what's happening. I'm working on long form videos, but since they take ages I'm putting up shorts to keep the channel active and, hopefully, growing. Aiming for one a day at least until the next long form video is up, which I'm hoping will be late January. This time of year is terrible for small education channels!
I've seen some people complaining about the shorts -- think of it as hors d'oeuvres before you get another 45 minute long deep dive into something! If you hate shorts, hate portrait mode, hate that I don't get into enough details in under 2 minutes, hate that it's stuff I've done deep dives on in the past... these are meant to be short little snippets, not full videos, to bring people in. YouTube is loving shorts right now so I want to use that as a tool to build the channel, but I promise full videos are coming! As always, I'm a one-woman operation and still working on finding a lit agent and some other stuff. So sit tight, I'm excited for the deep dives I'm working on!

Hey guys! Something I haven't really promoted over here because it's VERY different content that might not appeal to too many people here, but figured I'd share. I've been streaming on Twitch for nearly a year, and while it's not space content, it is casual, conversational content about anything and everything while I play really hard versions of Super Mario World. And Pete usually makes an appearance!
Monday and Thursday: 6pm Pacific (usually until about 10 or 10:30)
