The main mission, vision, and objectives of GLOBAL NETWORK are 1) to network with ya-phedangmas (shamans), tutu-tumyahangs (male oral-text experts), yakla-suhangs (female oral-text experts), scholars, cultural activists, writers, and under/graduate students, 2) to study, explore, and re/construct ancient Himalayan histories, cultures, customary traditions, gender identities, and Mundhum rhetorics, 3) to digitally document (both traditional and multimodal texts implied) them, and finally, preserve, disseminate, and institutionalize them in local, regional, and global contexts.
