About
With roots in Chili and wings in France, Tamara Austral is a South American music project that has emerged from the desire to embrace tradition while welcoming the foreign and new; cherishing the past while nurturing new ways of understanding the world. Tamara Silva is influenced by the sounds and the images of her life as an immigrant: the people that she's crossed paths with, the languages that she's tried to make hers, and the cities that have become her home.
Jean Pierre d'Alençon and Fanny Roger join Tamara on stage, where three voices, a "cajón", a guitar and a flute, bring to the scene an eclectic experience, where the new and the old, the local and the foreign converge in one sound
