Reflecting on my 2015 visit to Skibbereen Rowing Club, where I had the pleasure of interviewing committee members, the club chairman, Denise Walsh, Fintan McCarthy, Shane O’Driscoll, Kenneth McCarthy, and even received my first rowing lesson from Gary O’Donovan.
Seeing Irish rowers achieve such incredible success at this year’s Olympics brings back fond memories and highlights the dedication and talent nurtured at Skibbereen.
Congratulations to all the athletes for their remarkable achievements - your hard work and perseverance continue to inspire us all. 🚣♂️🇮🇪
