Fernando Fula is a self-taught artist, native to Boston, Massachusetts. He primarily creates with acrylic paint on canvas. Many works communicate life’s memories and confusions through self-portraits. Fernando’s focus is what he finds to be the most interesting: the human experience.
People always drew my attention, especially when it comes to the face; it’s a powerful feature. It’s very simple to create a face while still having the wide range of complexity that can be layered in developing one; it is what I have enjoyed most with my focus on the human portrait.
"When I find myself in times of stress, struggle and/or uncertainty, I tell myself to Just Create, everything will be OK.
