Shafqat Hussain Bhatti is BSc. Civil Engineer, (1st Division), MSc. Hydropower Engineering (78% marks) and PhD Scholar in Water Resources Engineering. He has completed course work with CGPA 3.50. Research on "Hydraulic Analysis and Design of Roof Profile for High Head Orifice Spillway" is in progress. He served 36 years in Punjab Irrigation Department (Pakistan). In addition he served NESPAK in Water Resources Division and also remained Team Leader of an Irrigation and Drainage Project of NESPAK in Iraq. He also worked as Private Consultant on Water Resources Engineering Projects and Associate Professor in Private Engineering University at Lahore and have been teaching the subject of Design of Hydraulic Structures. He presented his paper on Development of Small Hydropower in an International Conference held in Croatia during 2003. He is a regular guest speaker in Govt. Engineering Academy Punjab, Lahore since 2006.
