A few weeks ago a massive limb fell during some high winds and smashed into my little cabin. I was distraught and felt that I couldn't fix it since I'm so overwhelmed with life these days. I did get it covered with plastic in the meantime until I could decide what to do. I spent some time glaring at it and have finally started to work on it. It will be a slow process but I'm going to try to get it back to its former glory. I was looking forward to enjoying the cabin at this point with the cooler weather but I guess I'll be slaving over it yet again. I'll be putting out a few videos at some point showing the damage and the repair process. Sigh.

I've really enjoyed starting my day listening to God's word. Sometimes it's hard for me to take the time to read but I can easily listen. Micey has a soothing voice which is comforting to hear along with scripture. Check out her channel if this kind of thing interests you. @thruthebiblewithmicey

Welcome to my channel! My name is Wendi (Tie-dye on trail) and I love the outdoors! I've camped, fished and hunted most of my life. I fell in love with backpacking several years ago and have completed the lower half of the Appalachian Trail (1,097 miles), thru hiked the Foothills Trail and finished section hiking the Pinhoti Trail. I got into kayaking recently and am really enjoying being on the water soaking up what nature is showing me. Being outdoors is not only enjoyable but very therapeutic for me. I started vlogging so my family could see why I love tromping through the woods so much but soon realized making videos was a whole lot of fun and decided to go public with it.
My channel consists of backpacking, kayaking, gear reviews, some DIY stuff, cabin stuff, SUV camping plus some giggles thrown in.
