Hi there! We’re Julia and Maikel, a Dutch couple living in the beautiful city of Deventer. Our love story began in Jakarta, Indonesia, in 2016, and we’ve been happily married since 2019.
Join us as we renovate our home, travel the world, and explore new foods. Deventer is known for its stunning location by the IJssel River and its rich history as a Hanzestad, or Hanseatic city. We love discovering its charming streets, lively markets, and beautiful riverfront.
