Hi,
as you can probably tell from my username, I am a big fan of violin music - violin concertos in particular- and my favourite violinist of all time is none other than Kyung Wha Chung! (The woman in my background) Her playing really hits the spot for me.
I have been playing the violin for about 2 years, since Nov 07. I am currently at grade 8 (Trinity Guildhall) and will be taking my exams maybe May '11. However, I play for fun and I admit spending far more time on listening to the music itself than practicing my instrument.
Everyone, check out Kyung Wha Chung's records. I recommend her Bruch, Beethoven and Brahms Violin Concertos.
