The reason I think cleaning hospital COVID wards at the height of the pandemic was the best job I ever had... is because it taught me who I really was. Strange thing to say, I know. But the truth is, when everything else was silent - when people were locked away, and I was scrubbing floors under strip lights with only my own thoughts for company - I found a kind of peace. A kind of grit. And I’ve carried that with me ever since.
This channel isn’t curated or choreographed. I’m not here for likes or views. I’m a father of five, someone who’s been through the system, worked across retail, housing, admin, night shelters, youth charities, and yes - hospital cleaning during a pandemic. Volunteered where I could. Failed a few times. Still standing.
Some videos might be spoken journals. Some might be rough reflections or silent pauses. But all of them are real.
