The Uninvited, originally from Los Angeles, was named, formed and founded in 1988 when brothers John and Steven Taylor teamed up with longtime friends Bill Cory on bass and Bruce Logan on drums. The band went on to release 6 independent albums and one record on Atlantic Records that yielded the hits "Too High For The Supermarket" and "What God Said." Their music has been featured in many movies and television shows including "Party of Five," "Beverly Hills 90210", "Melrose Place" and others.
In 2019 the Taylor brothers reformed the group with drummer John Messier and bassist Tony Giuliano, and continue to tour and record. Their 2022 release, Broken Promiseland, is out now, featuring "I'm Not Dead Yet" and "Unwritten." Guitarist Steven Taylor wrote a memoir of the band’s experiences titled, “The Uninvited – On the Road with the Greatest Rock Band You Never Heard,” which hit #1 on Amazon's Top Punk Memoirs chart.
