All cancer is caused by any organic chemical extracted from plants, the remains of a heavily broken
down plant, plants only (vitamins, pills, random powder, medicine, supplements, plastic, oil).
Plant cells broken down from their original form make it easier for loose schmucks(cells) to seek a
greater form in whatever is near (to fix what they were broken from). It has a lidl% chance to
intertwine with the dna of one of your cells (or manipulate it) and when it duplicates it believes
itself to be a fruit, separated from the stem, growing continuously, with the nutrients of your body
and in the form made sense from the cell it latched onto.
you could also say human dna has so many functions, the plant extract tells the human dna to
be like a plant as I am, trigger a function that acts as I would, use me as reference (I'm making
stuff up) the human may also misread the plant and do other funky stuff or the plant has
something other than bearing fruit in mind

procedures, cars, oil are given and promoted by everyone to an unnecessary extreme extent

someone believes humanity will be better off when plant demons (aliens) show themselves [tiny gnome sized], who will definitely try to link their dna with humans (like watchers+humans -> nephilim) trying to prevent obvious otherworldly decedents from looking too different to humans (something will probably get in the way and their efforts will be deemed useless, since this story already happened) [this is just a guess of reason, but it could be allowed for character development]
animals are especially prone to cancer due to pollution and lack of built up resistance
(generational) unlike humans who use plant-based products nonstop, the more they use the
more resistant they become (generational), but also the more flaws of instability our plant
mingled human dna show, and the stronger the cancer-concentrated pills become to "iron out

the most a cure could do is force stop feeding the the original cell of it's expected inputs and halt
it, up until the body forces those nutrients or original expected inputs out of you to feed the cells

One of the hardest things when dealing with a population is taking away something already given to them.
No matter if the future world will be worse off with them keeping it or better off with something else.
Solutions::
-Scare people (current thing or future needs to be threatening, many will act, they think it's necessary, if scared too often people will become immune; if scare is fake people may find out, things will revert)
-Release the better solution with current solution still in place (a natural growth in support, might not be possible, current solution still exists with problems)
-Promote new solution as better than the current (less than anticipated would care; nobody thinks it's necessary, only good; slow to implement)
-Promote new solution as solving all the problems current thing has (problems may not be noticed in current generation, so nobody cares; new solution seen as money/material waste if tried and problems aren't solved immediately)
-Brainwash everyone (don't know how this would work, if found out - you're dead and your idea is dead; would probably wear off, everything reverts; if some amount of people are still under your spell, uncanny synchronized thoughts, they're seen as crazy/dumb along with your idea, idea never supported by majority again)
-Emotional connection (get people emotionally invested, might just turn into scare people solution, needs more than majority, might be difficult to maintain/easy to disregard, needs to be something everyone relates to, interest will be lost overtime, emotions might be redirected to something else)
-Allow the worst to happen with current solution (Everyone alive is forced to acknowledge the better way, wastes time, what you were trying to avoid happened anyway)
-Gather support from corporations/governments (monetary/power incentive, population interest might differ from corporate/government interest, people retaliate; there may be a choice to help the most powerful organizations or the majority of organizations, not both, it's a guess on which will be more helpful, the non-benefited will retaliate; some organizations may be forced out of business for a greater benefit of the opposing/future organizations, the ones to be killed retaliate with their supporters)
-Force new solution (everyone retaliates now or later, old solution is renewed, your new solution is seen as evil forever)
-Hijack the other solution and it's support (manipulate supporters of worse solution to do something stupid/evil, associated idea is seen as bad forever; if caught, worse solution seen as good, and your better solution as evil(malicious just like your actions); your new solution isn't guaranteed to win over the other alternatives; if it's something that existed for a long time with no problems, there's little chance this will work, it'll be obvious or seen as a rare unimportant problem)
-Artificially/naturally start a movement to promote your new thing (difficult, growth -> needs more than majority of population support for little resistance/chance of reverting, new solution seen as people's choice, hardly criticized at max support, chance of movement going a direction you don't want it to go, uncontrollable at a certain point; if movement goes evil or dumb with implementing, new solution associated seen as bad forever)
Scaring people might be the best way, truthful scares not false flags, unless you're perfectly good at it I guess, then your solutions could be put in place a little faster. But then there's the chance your new solution is wrong and your artificial scares were never a real problem, so it's best to be honest about the worst scenario. If the new solution is implemented and you are wrong (more problems than before), everything reverts, unless you hide the new problems somehow and your motives are something other than helping people.
