Our two Red Falstaff apple trees are producing happily. I’m always envious when I see folk with trees like discovery that are harvestable in August, ours don’t start until mid October, but I appreciate it all the more when they do produce.
I’m hoping our new tree variety “Katy” will give us fruit a bit earlier, give us that longer apple seasons.

There's are a lot of questions coming in just now asking if you have to dig dahlias up now.
The simple answer is no. It all depends on the conditions in which you are growing them. For me, my winter and spring and very wet and dahlia tubers rot in the ground if I leave them, so I dig them up after the frosts have come.
