Hi! Pocket Pulp is an indie game startup, made of Sean, Casey and our 2 dogs, Gator and Hobo. Sean has been coding since he was a kid and is a professional programmer today, but had never made a commercially released game before partnering with Casey. Casey has been playing games since she was a kid, but does not program and had no pixel art experience before partnering with Sean. Together we made Inky and the Alien Aquarium a puzzle adventure game for the Game Boy Advance,.
Our GBA homebrew was built from the ground up in Assembly. Sean did all the programming, including making an assembler and sound engine, and created the music. Casey did the pixel art and marketing. We are very proud of the work we did on our games and are eager to talk about it. We hope to inspire more people to make games for retro consoles. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
