Hello my fellow aviators! My name is Trent Dyrsmid and back in my 20s, I made the cut as a "pilot-in-training" in the Canadian Armed forces. The goal was to become a fighter pilot.
Sadly, government budget cutbacks put that dream on ice...and being as I was just a poor kid without a degree, I decided to become an entrepreneur and build businesses that would allow me to become wealthy enough to fly airplanes on the side.
In the spring of 2023, I decided that I'd waited long enough to have a 'fun job'...and so with the support of my loving wife, I've decided to divest my businesses and star career 2.0 as a professional pilot.
Since then, a lot has happened and I've earned the following ratings: AMEL, CFI, CFII, MEI.
