Bluefrog being suspended,
Bots spamming random names and addresses in the comments,
Ad breaks getting blocked because someone decided that ā€˜Rioā€™ by Duran Duran of all songs is a sacred text,
Some attention-seeking Roblox avatar rando saying what could either be accusing me out of the blue of grooming or trying to crack a joke about taking that still I just shared from the terrible Just for Men advert about a dad and his daughter celebrating his new ties in a more sinister context but phrasing it poorly either way theyā€™re blocked,

ā€¦have I said too much? Anyway, I donā€™t recommend being a YouTuber.

Phew, finally checked through and listed *most* of the ad breaks I've scheduled to post through October up to early in November. There's still another couple of unseen films I need to get through before I'm done with our DVDs, so as not to ruin anything for myself, and then I'm finally free. I will share some never-before-seen VHS recordings before moving onto the DVDs, all in chronological order, and as these are fresh uploads, just one ad compilation will be shared on school days alongside a single advert whenever possible, while you will see two per day on weekends and in the half term. And be warned, because a lot of the DVD recordings come from 2010, when my habit of watching films on TV was in full swing, and it was the time in which I discovered that advertising could actually be bad. Like, seriously, embarrassingly, horrendously, shockingly bad. And you're going to have to deal with these stinkers for weeks. I hope you're prepared!

ā€Ŗ@clover4994ā€¬ recently contacted me about an advertising itch he's trying to scratch. What he can remember about this ad:
"had a scene of a northern line 1995 stock train arriving at angel station and what i know is the advert had a pink colour scheme, and the scene is later followed by a billboard (not a projected one as seen at the station) but it was edited to have an animation of something (i think it was perfume or something but i think it had a heart)"
Below are two sketch recreations of the ad he supplied as well as a photo giving an idea of what the setting and train must have looked like. If anyone remembers this ad, please chip in!

And while I don't take requests, submissions and mysteries like this are always welcome!

It has come to my attention that the 40 seconds of footage from Cold Mountain featured in this set of Channel 5 ad breaks has the left the whole video blocked in Canada by its Canadian rights holder. I do care about my international audience but cannot bring myself to sacrifice any part of my shared recordings if it can still be seen by local viewers, so if you live in Canada and you are curious to see some British television nostalgia, Iā€™m sorry to say that the truth is you basically haVe no Possible meaNs of access to View this Particular collectioN.

This season of ad break reposts will conclude at the end of this month in perfect timing, but next month you should expect to see a collection of ad breaks yet to be posted here; more BBC continuity, corrupted tapes, recordings obstructed by NTL menus and ad breaks/continuity recorded onto DVDs - most of them from film recordings from 2010 that are now old enough to earn their rightful places on this channel.

After that, it's either your regular programming or I go on hiatus again, though I am open to transferring tapes again. In fact, at home we've opened ourselves up to more VHS-to-DVD transfers for people in our neighbourhood who never used our service we set up eleven years ago, but we still have yet to see a response and my urge to get back into business is fairly high at this point. I am not sure about buying tapes off of eBay because of the process of having to sell them back to others, and Umit & Son's is too far away from home. If you have any tapes of yours lying around likely to contain adverts of any sort that you would like to see on this channel, feel free to contact me and we can arrange to have them posted!

Bluesky has video support now, it's safe to quit Twitter now. I suggest you follow this OOC account I set up for the occasion with clips from dumb movie trailers but with a certain audio track missing

Now on the Random Junk channel, a 48-minute film from socially conscious Aussie animator Paul Williams (The Black Planet, The Phantom Treehouse), The Island of Nevawuz, an unsubtle environmental parable in which an unknown traditionalist island community finds themselves under the threat of mass industrialisation and the tyrannical rule of a business tycoon whose name and ambitions sound all too familiarā€¦

Label my BBC and Disney Channel videos as ā€˜Continuityā€™ or keep the ā€˜Ad Breaksā€™ tag for all recorded videos?
