JIM BAILEY 1/10/38 - 5/30/15 was described by LA Weekly in 2002 as being one of the great entertainers of our time. He performed at major venues throughout the world in concert :, including six appearances at Carnegie Hall, twenty at the London Palladium - two were week-long seasons, Symphony Halls everywhere and sixteen main showrooms in Las Vegas and Atlantic city. His achievements include two Command Performances for the British Royal Family and for three sitting American presidents, many appearances on the Tonight Show, and acting/ performing roles on eighty leading TV shows and motion pictures.He broke ground in 1970 on the Ed Sullivan Show, 1971 on the tonight show, 1972 on Carol Burnett Show and 1973 on Heres Lucy. He has also appeared at the Superbowl Halftime Show in 1978 and the Olympic opening ceremony pre- show in 1984. Many of these performances are on youtube.
