If you like music and want entertainment, go see the performer live. For the price of a concert ticket, you should be able to record the act as a way to keep that memory, and share it with others if you'd like. If you are not allowed to record the performance, and ESPECIALLY if the entertainer keeps the same set list, then WHY BUY AN EXPENSIVE CONCERT TICKET? An entertainer I have seen for many years has it in his live performance contract with venues 'no photography or recording' but will say on the stage 'I didn't get dressed up so that you won't take pictures' and from the stage encourage his audience to take their cameras out to record him. Yet, venues with security on power trips seek to enforce the 'no photography or recording' contract, despite the entertainer announcing take your cameras out. It ruins the concert experience. Like the music, then buy the album. Cant record parts of the show? Do yourself a favor and watch the videos on YouTube and save yourself a lot of money.
