I am practicing face reading( Physiognomy) since 2013, I gathered so much knowledge through books, i read many books related to old western face reading and Chinese medicine. I observed these things really work in daily life. I would not say principles of physiognomy 100% correct but 80-90% you will find correct.
I am not professional face reader, but after gathering knowledge i found out face reading really helps you to understand your strengths and challenges. It gives you extra edge to understand individual person and his insight.
Face reading is very much scientific although it considered as pseudo science.
Your face shows your thinking pattern, temperament, personality, how you behave under stress. All those things can be easily seen on your face.
