Alrighty folks!
Sorry about the lack of content on here over the last two weeks, but as you probably already know Sam and I recently got married out in Utah and decided to take a little break from posting to focus on the wedding.
I cannot say enough good things about my two week journey out west I feel like each and everyday included a bucket list adventure whether it was exploring old castle ruins, hiking my first 13er, exploring National Parks or the perfect weather we had on our wedding day.
It was also one of the most challenging trips of my life, I truly put my heart and soul into each and every one of these videos and I cannot wait to share them with you, regular posting will continue this Friday where I’ll be taking you to a new state park for the channel so stay tuned for that!

Well folks the next chapter of Maksim Outdoors begins tonight, I’ll admit I don’t use this community tab as much as I should but I figured I would give a little “roadmap” of what is coming up on the channel!
First off tonight kicks off my Dolly Sods series where I was joined by @WALTERZOLNA @mountainsintomemories and @dayhikedave for an incredible 3 day adventure through some of the most amazing scenery you will encounter this side of the country. Tonight you’ll be seeing the full trip, all 25 miles in a half an hour so I hope you all enjoy it.
Eventually I will be releasing the “story” versions or the day to day episodes of the Sods adventure so look forward to those as well…
After that we will be linking up with the one and only @thewanderingwoodsman7227 for an incredible hike up to Pole Steeple which I’m sure you folks will love the views and the convos we had along the way…
After we will link back up with Ryan from @mountainsintomemories for a hike up to the tallest peak in the Ricketts Glen area…
But wait there’s more! @dayhikedave and I will be taking you out to an amazing Nature Reserve on the hunt for another elusive purple lizard!
And finally (as of now) my PA Wilds trip through countless new PA state parks and forests will round out this year as @camping_milkman and I tackle Cherry Springs State Park on one of the clearest nights I can recall.
Oh I’m also getting married in September, so much going on and I can’t wait to share it all with you!

Alright folks! Some good news and bad news for all of ya, first off I’m sure a few of you have noticed no new video this week, but it’s for good reason!
Next week we will be back with one of our most popular video series on Maksim Outdoors, the return of the cruise vlog!
We are going to be trading in the cold weather of Alaska (the cruise we did last time around) and heading on down south to explore three new countries for the channel all while taking you on hikes, showing you some new wildlife IDs and so much more.
The next 4 weeks will primarily be all about our newest adventure so I hope you stick around and enjoy cruise vlog 2.0 before we continue on with Pennsylvania content (tons of great stuff coming from PA here shortly!)

Hey all!
Haven’t really been utilizing this space as much as I should but I have quite a few updates for the channel I wanted to share with you all.
First off I’m really proud to announce we have just surpassed a huge milestone I’ve been following for a while now, we have over 500,000 views and counting for the channel! That’s half a million…mind blown 🤯
Second my Michigan series is officially starting to roll out, it will be taking over the channel for probably another month in a half! If you’re here for the Pennsylvania content it will be back and better than ever here soon!
Which leads me to the third update, the big thing folks have been asking to see on the channel is backpacking content, and boy do we have a lot of great backpacking content coming up here soon. The picture linked to this is from one of my latest trips and a great collaboration between two other great YouTubers that you should check out which are Mountains into Memories and Hiking with Ricky, so if you read this far do my a favor and give those guys some love they deserve it!

Holy smokes, never in a million years did I think this channel would be at the point it is now, feels like yesterday we hit our first one thousand subscribers and now we are here! The Alaska Vlog really pushed this channel to the next level and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been here from the beginning as well as all of the new subscribers here…it’s truly mind blowing that 10,000 of you just hit that subscribe button let alone watch some random guy from Pennsylvania walk and talk in front of a camera, so truly everyone thank you and I hope the best is yet to come!

Another incredible milestone for the channel as we just surpassed the 5,000 subscriber milestone as well as the 200,000 views milestone! I hope everyone is enjoying the Alaskan vlog, these are some of the most difficult and comprehensive videos I have ever made, as always I really enjoy reading each and every comment left here. You guys seriously are amazing and drive me to go out make this content for you all, so with that being said, onward to 10,000!

It’s finally that time! I’m extremely excited about sharing the next chapter of my adventures with everyone, for the next few weeks Sam and I will be taking you along with us as we tackle an all new state for the channel, Alaska! Each week I’ll be releasing daily vlogs from our trip. Day one is out now as we head from the east coast all the way to Seattle, I also just wanted once again to thank all of you out there for the constant support, you guys truly are amazing, I hope everyone is having a great summer and I can’t wait to share with you some amazing adventures!
