Illusions are both good and bad. It is what is used to make people understand or think certain ways. Everything you see around us is an illusion of some sort, because everybody wants you to believe what they have to say. And telling the truth about things and exposing things you can vindicate people. As an example, if people had negative thoughts about you, and those thoughts are based on illusions that were presented to them then exposing those illusions would help people understand what is really going on. And then people would understand and think positively about you.
