I wanted to take a moment to give an answer to a question I get asked a lot. What exactly is a "DDO" (Double Die Obverse Error) on a penny??
A "double die error" on a penny means that during the minting process, the coin was struck twice by the die, resulting in a duplicated image of the design elements like letters, dates, and artwork, appearing slightly offset from the original, creating a "doubled" effect on the coin; this is considered a rare error by collectors and can significantly increase the value of the penny depending on the severity of the doubling and the year of the coin. Specifically, the 1955-D and 1969-S Lincoln pennies are very valuable with this error.

I've had a lot of comments from the community, especially from our friends in the Philippines, about where to sell their coins. I personally dont buy, sell, or grade coins on this channel right now. I just give insights into what to look for in coins as far as errors, rarity, value, and historical significance. I give my recommendations and values based on the above factors and also past auctions. The easiest way to sell would be to locate a reputable coin dealer. Since the majority of comments are from our Philippines friends, I can't recommend anyone because I personally dont know a coin dealer in the Philippines, and I would never want to lead my community to someone I personally dont know.I'm sure a quick #Google search would find a reputable coin dealer close. Sorry I couldn't assist with this more. As always, Happy Hunting!

Ok, coin collectors, which coin would you rather own? Both are extremely valuable! The 1933 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle, or The Flowing Hair Silver Dollar???
