Born in Belarus in a family of artists Antonina Zharava chose to settle in Paris where she leads her concert and teacher activities.
In her international career, she has been inspired by great teachers in France and abroad: Philippe Muller, Leon Fleischer, Pamela Frank, Frans Helmerson, and Gary Hoffman.
Antonina Zharava is passionate about teaching and transmission. Professor of cello and chamber music at the Conservatoires of 6th and 13th district of Paris, she carie out educational projects in connection with other artistic forms (painting, juggling, improvisation, digital) which testify to her innovative approach to teaching.
Holder of the Master degree of Pedagogy and Certificate of Aptitude, she is invited for masterclasses notable by the Music Academy in Sarajevo and Minsk Conservatory.
Her project CELLO KIDS is a Prize Winner of Musical Teaching by the Chamber of Editors of Music of France 2019.
