Sohail Salamat (born 1976) is a Pakistani musician, primarily a singer of Qawwali, a devotional music of the Sufis. He is the nephew of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and the Son of Bakshi Salamat Ali He has toured extensively and performed in Pakistan, India, and all around the world, from Holland to Malaysia Early life and training in a family of traditional musicians. The son of Bakshi Salamat Ali, he was trained by his uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and his brother BJS (Bakshi Javaid Salamat group) in the art of classical music and Qawwali.
