Dear friends, I was recently invited by Jacqueline on her channel @SatChitAnandaAnant to record a talk on the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita (Shlokas 3.27 & 3.28) which touch deeply on Ramesh's concept of non-doership & acceptance of God's Will. Below is the link of our talk, which I think will resonate with you. I urge you to show love and support to Jacqueline's channel as you have shown to me. 🙏🏼

I started this channel in 2019 to spread the message of peace and harmony. My intention has been always to share the wisdom of masters whose lived experience resonates with mine. I never sought enlightenment or permanent bliss as a retained state of mind. I never spoke about things that did not match my personal experience. Slowly, you all came here and spread love and harmony by sharing your life challenges and experiences. Today, this community is bubbling with spiritual seekers from all over the world sharing their deep insights and wisdom.
The words of Ramana Maharshi, “Consciousness is the source and substance of everything, Consciousness is all there is,” Ramesh Balsekar, “True understanding is the doer-mind giving up the sense of personal volition,” and Papaji, “Don’t let the water in your boat!” were life-changing teachings bringing tremendous sense of peace. These insights brought about a sense of peace putting an end to seeking “personal” fulfillment. What is sought is closest and most intimate to us, it is only a matter of direct “seeing.”
It brings me tremendous joy to see that today over 9000 people worldwide have received the message of peace. However, this journey has been full of technical and interpersonal relationship challenges. Things were and are never conducive. Additionally, living in areas with high construction activity, pollution, and noise brought filming and recording challenges. Still, the message continued to reach all of you and will continue to be the same in the future. Many of you have been amazingly supportive in this endeavor, and for that, I take this moment to convey my sincere appreciation. This was difficult without your support.

ENTERTAINMENT BASED SPIRITUALITY!
Why do we seek? I'm not talking only about spiritual seeking but why do we seek anything in general. It's not that we are really keen to find solutions to our so-percieved problems, we want to find others who are riding in the same boat as we think we are. That gives momentary relief to our minds with the feeling that we are not alone in suffering.
No matter how many stories and personal accounts we read or find people who are experiencing the pain of bare existence, we do not find peace and tranquility because the activity of seeking and finding solace in the fact that "others" are also suffering like "me" does not bring peace to the restless mind. We only feel better momentarily, until the activity starts again.
The activity to find relief is itself continuation of suffering.
The thinking mind or the mind that belives it is separate from the rest is not designed to be satisfied with concepts alone. It seeks to perpetuate itself and not bring lasting happiness and peace. This is the reason why, for most people, spiritual exploration is an entertainment similar to the usual worldly and materialistic forms of entertainments.
The mind seeks only to conform to what it already believes. Insights that go against one's core beliefs and ideas are not easily accepted by the mind till the mind undergoes a painful surrender. Surrender is hard for the ego-mind because it breaks years or decades of hard-ingrained conditioning. Most people entertain themselves with concepts and fall back into their core beliefs because that "feels" safe. They rely on something so fickle as a feeling or an emotion to assess their spiritual progress.
That's why Nisargadatta Maharaj said that spiritual path requires humility and courage. It requires earnestness. Which is not possible when the mind is outwardly focused trying to find comfort in entertainment based spirituality. Mind has to go inwards, which implies total suspension of all movements and direct observation of facts as Jiddu Krishnamurti would often say.
It requires dropping the armour and even being prepared to die in the process. Till we keep protecting ourselves with past knowledge, beliefs, concepts, and core ideas, we are not serious. We are just entertaining ourselves and if that's the way we wish to proceed than there's no freedom from this plain of existence that is rooted in constant pain and suffering.
That's why Buddha said, Samsara is dukkha. Dukkha is unconsciousness. It is the ego mind doing what is always does even after knowing that whatever it "does" never brings lasting peace!

"All can be done if the God-touch is there" - Sri Aurobindo
God-touch is the remembrance of one's true nature that is present here now. It is not acquired externally. The God principle shines within all of us as "I." Just BE!

Surya aka Jagjot is an Indian-born spiritual author and speaker who talks about non-duality or Advaita. He adopts a practical approach to non-duality rather than following fixed traditional systems and religious dogmas. He is the author of four books: The End of Me & My story, I Hope You Get Nothing Out of This, Meditation is Not About Emptying Your Mind, and Bitten By The Energy Serpent - A New Perspective on Kundalini.
He believes that the realization of spiritual awakening has to be verified through direct personal experience, and the ultimate objective, is to cultivate a relatively peaceful mind in daily living. He learned that all this time, he was living in an illusion of separation, which was the cause of his pain and suffering. When the illusion disappeared, the Wholeness revealed itself, breaking the last remains of what was perceived as the “me” in Jagjot.
