Subjekt is Norway's fastest growing newspaper - and your best friend when it comes to good taste. Editor-in-chief Danby Choi is a board member of the Oslo Editors' Association and known as the country's leading critic of woke, cancel culture and identity politics.
The newspaper has a classical liberal point of view and mainly covers various cultural issues. Including questions about gender, diversity, equality, religion and ethics - in addition to classic cultural areas such as architecture, literature and visual arts. Subjekt has ten employees and head office in Oslo.
Subjekt is published with support from Fritt Ord, Norwegian Arts Council and the Norwegian Media Authority, but mainly the income from its own commercial activities. Subjekt is the organizer of Subjektprisen (The Subjekt Awards).
