OLD WORLD wisdom and experience meets New World carry on the traditions with scientific information from wine and vinegar making with as few additives as possible, to growing back yard wine grapes, making wines from back yard, Californian, Chilean and South African grapes including crushing, measuring potential alcohol, total acidity, pH and adjusting if necessary, adding META, fermenting and breaking the cap and aging in oak barrels, bottling tomatoes taking into consideration Clostridium Botulinum, making lasagna from scratch, especially kneading the dough by hand, and other recipes from the Abruzzo region of Italy, where I was born, growing and protecting in ground fig trees, gardening, surf casting from shore with a Santini Tube to lure and catch Stripers, and learning/teaching English to people from other countries, which has been my professional career for many years.
